Subject : Issue of Request for Proposal (RFP)
Project Name : Basic Trainer Aircraft Program for Turkish Land Forces (KKTEU)
Scope : International tender for procurement of 46 Basic Trainer Aircraft for Turkish Land Forces.
General Specifications :
• The proposed aircraft shall have single reciprocating engine with constant speed propeller.
• The proposed aircraft engine power shall be at least 160hp.
• The proposed aircraft Useful Load shall not be less than 800 lb.
• The proposed aircraft cabin shall accommodate four-person flight crew consisting of Pilot, and Copilot seating in front, and two passengers seating in rear.
• The proposed aircraft Service Ceiling shall not be less than 12000ft at Maximum Take-off Weight (MTOW).
• The proposed aircraft maximum endurance shall be at least 4 (four) hours with maximum cruise speed at 12000 ft, MTOW and ISA.
• The proposed aircraft shall be fully controllable from either pilot station.

RFP Response Date : 15 June 2007
RFP Collection Requirement : Bidders may obtain RFP till April 20, 2007 by fulfilling following conditions:
a) Issue of bank receipt for 2.000,00 (two thousand) US Dollar deposited to SSM’s bank account, the receipt shall include the statement as “RFP deposit for Basic Trainer Aircraft (KKTEU) Program”
b) Issue of auhorization letter, if RFP received through a represantative company.
