Turkey to contribute to EUFOR in Bosnia

Troops from Spain, Poland, Turkey and Hungary will make up the European Union Force (EUFOR) in Bosnia this year after it has been slimmed down to 2,500 peacekeepers from 6,000, a EUFOR spokesman said on Tuesday. Achim Winkler said the battalion would be the cornerstone of the new peace force structure there, which was endorsed by the EU at the end of February.
