In the meantime, following the early morning Sunday bombings of PKK camps in the Kandil Mountain range along the Turkish-Iraqi border, an internet site connected with the Kurdistan Patriotic Union said that the camps had sustained heavy losses. Kurdish-backed Roj TV, which sometimes acts as a spokesforum for the PKK, reported yesterday that the Turkish air campaign against the PKK camps had been in coordination with Iran.
