Turkey's Yuksel has developed a new remote-controlled weapon station (RCWS) called IMTAKS, in partnership with MKEK. So far, two examples of IMTAKS have been built, one prototype and one pre-production. It has been developed for use in defending static locations - scanning pre-programmed arcs, as well as for installation on various types of armoured fighting vehicles

For the first time the Turkish company Yüksel presented at DSA 2008 a new remote controlled weapon station. This new remote operated system can be use for various weapons system. The system show to the DSA 2008 was equipped with a assault rifle and a machine gun.
